New – Software update 8.7.1 for PBX Call Assist 5 (Windows and macOS)

The new version is now available for download

Version 8.7.1.10442

Bug fixes/improvements

  • The API for the integration in Microsoft Teams has been updated and now supports (optionally) reading presence information without user authorization.
  • The timing behavior during call transfer actions by softphone users on an innovaphone telephone system has been improved. As a result, held connections are no longer disconnected.
  • The SIP lines of a SIP trunk configured for the Mitel OpenScape 4000 were not properly registered when the UCServer was restarted. This issue has been resolved.
  • "Integration with Microsoft Teams" feature in the UCServer administration: It is no longer necessary to grant a user consent for app registration permissions. Instead, the app registration itself can now obtain the required permissions to read presence information (getPresence) through service permissions. This feature can be activated using the checkbox "Use service permissions" (recommended). See Änderung bei der App Registrierung - User Consent - Service Permissions.
  • During the registration with a MitelBorgerGateway, the value in the qop-header is now sent without quotation marks.
  • The LDAP connection in the UCServer, which is typically used for integration with a MetaDirectory, has been comprehensively revised. This ensures a more stable connection and improved resilience, particularly in cloud environments.

Version 8.7.0.10322

Improvements

  • Device recognition in the PBX Call Assist client for Windows in "Remote desktop mode " has been improved.
  • The processing of logins in the PBX Call Assist app for web and the PBX Call Assist mobile apps has been improved.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed: The setting of the profile-controlled Busy-on-Busy was not displayed in the system information of the PBX Call Assist Client for Windows.
  • Fixed: Crash of the PBX Call Assist client for Windows if the telephone system hangs up immediately after a call from the other subscriber has been put on hold.
  • Fixed: When connected to the Avaya IP Office, the call could no longer be transferred back to where the call was picked up from during internal SIP-SIP pickup.
  • An "Administrative call forwarding" set in the SIP line group is now also applied to newly set up lines.
  • The SIP federation between UCServer and innovaphone PBX only worked for a short time because the telephone system changed the socket. Recognising and switching to new sockets has been improved.
