Important notes:
Updating to version 1.4.10 or higher is irreversible. After the update, downgrading to a lower version is not possible. In the event of critical necessity to downgrade, please contact our support team.
After updating an existing COMtrexx VM instance, virtual disks must be manually enlarged. For more information, see the Auerswald DokuWiki
New features:
COMfortel SoftPhone
The ICT system supports the COMfortel SoftPhone, a soft client for Windows, Android and iOS. It requires neither a local network nor port forwarding. In addition to telephony, instant messaging is also possible on several platforms. Important: The COMfortel SoftPhone is available free of licensing charges for a limited period of one year. For permanent use, please contact your distributor or system partner.
REST API
The REST API makes it possible to retrieve and set certain parameters or functions of a COMtrexx. Therefore, for example, own applications can be used to read in the status of the COMtrexx and its endpoints (telephones, SIP trunks, etc.) and to configure certain functions. Optimisations:
Licences
The ICT system now regularly carries out a comparison of the licences acquired. After the acquisition of further licences, the comparison can be started additionally.
SIP OPTIONS Keep-Alives
SIP OPTIONS Keep-Alives can now be used in different scenarios to prevent possible connection losses, e.g. through a firewall. You can activate this option in the provider configuration: Exchange lines > Providers and Accounts > Provider > SIP > NAT Keep-Alive
Default settings Provider
The following setting is now disabled by default when creating a provider without a template: Outbound Proxy/Session Border Controller
Storage COMtrexx VM
When setting up a COMtrexx VM for the first time, the virtual hard disk is now larger. After updating an existing COMtrexx VM, the virtual hard disk must be manually enlarged afterwards. Further information can be found here: Auerswald DokuWiki
