Change of access rights
Attackers with access to the Configuration Manager of the system phones (in the LAN or via the Internet) can, without logging in as a user or an admin, access files in the phone via certain non-documented accesses. This makes it possible to transfer sensitive data such as the user login and SIP password.
This possibility of unauthorised access has been locked by security measures.
Note:
For security reasons, please make an update, even if you do not need the extended functions. Direct access from the Internet to the Configuration Manager (via port forwarding in the router) should be switched off for security reasons. Instead, use Auerswald Remote Access (for retailers) or VPN access to access remote devices via the Internet.
