New – Software update 8.9.3 for PBX Call Assist 5 (Windows and macOS)

The new version is now available for download

Version 8.9.3.11556

Bug fixes/improvements

UCServer

  • The robustness of communication with the licence server has been improved.
  • The stability of the UCServer has been improved, including when accessing the MetaDirectory.
  • The faulty INVITE during bridged call transfer (e.g. with OSB trunk) has been fixed.
  • Numbers and letters can now be used for SIP registration on all supported PBX systems.
  • The UCServer no longer deletes PUSH registrations when restarting or in the event of loss to UCConnect.
  • If the members of a group call come from different locations, the call is delivered to all participants and can be accepted.
Please note: Whether this call can be transferred to other participants depends on the configuration of the telephone system.
  • When using a UCServer collection group with agent function, the tooltip for the contact in the favourites now shows which agent groups the user is a member of and whether they are logged in or not.
  • When creating SIP registrations with a "-" in the name, "-" is no longer automatically interpreted as an indication for creating multiple SIP registrations.

ProCall Desktop for Windows

  • The crash of ProCall Desktop for Windows when right-clicking on a journal entry has been fixed.
  • To improve the problem of low volume levels at the beginning of a softphone call, the AGC2 stack was activated. This is a module in WebRTC that was developed to automatically adjust the volume of microphones in real time.
  • If ProCall Desktop for Windows is started without the main window and a chat message is received, clicking on the "bubble" will open the chat with the message.
