The PoE Injector COMfortel PoE-1000 for Gigabit Ethernet devices support IEEE 802.3af compliant network devices, e.g. a wireless access point, an IP telephone or a network camera. The devices can be supplied with power directly over the network cable.
Supplying power through the network connection reduces the number of cables and increases flexibility when choosing an installation location. There is no need for a separate wall-mounted power supply. Only the network cable is required for the connection.
