Software update 2.6.4 for COMtrexx

The new version is now available for download.

Important Update Information

  • COMtrexx VM only: Version 2.6.1 is required for an update to version 2.4.6 or higher.
  • Versions 2.6.1 to 2.6.4 are not available on the update server due to extensive changes. Download the firmware file (*.rom) and perform a manual firmware update:
    Administration > Maintenance > Update and Restart > Store firmware in the PBX | Manual Firmware Update
    In some cases, it may be necessary to make changes to the configuration. Please refer to the notes in the release notes.

Device Support

Additional RTP configuration options for internal VoIP devices:
Administration > VoIP > VoIP configuration > RTP

  • RTCP (Real-time Transport Control Protocol)
  • SSRC (Synchronization Source)
  • Bandwidth
  • X-nat
  • Connection information in media level

 

Provisioning

snom_template.xml: To prevent encryption errors, encryption on the telephone is now disabled via the Snom telephone provisioning template.
The following entries have been added:
<user_outbound idx="1" perm="RW">$(sip.server):$(sip.port);tcp</user_outbound>
<user_srtp idx="1" perm="RW">off</user_srtp>
Note: If SIPS/SRTP is enabled by default in COMtrexx, the configuration for the telephone must be adjusted individually:
Telephones > Assignment > Configure > RTP encryption > only unencrypted
Note: In individually created provisioning files, this change must be transferred manually.



Bug Fixes

Remote Backup

After updating to version 2.6.1, automatic backups were no longer carried out.


Known bugs in version 2.6.4

E-mail transfer

If, after updating to version 2.6.4, the old firmware (version 2.4.x) is restored (by rebooting), email sending will no longer work. In this case, please contact the Auerswald Support.

Provisioning

Telephones > Provisioning > standard.xml:
An XML error is displayed when opening the file.
