The first steps to a service contract

1. Set up the service contract

  • "Keep it simple": Start with ONE service contract variant.
  • Define services that you know your customers will appreciate. You may already be offering them anyway. (e.g. warranty, availability, maintenance, additional services)

2. Price the service contract

3. Offer the service contract

  • When setting up the system, offer the appropriate service contract and place your comprehensive service at the centre of the sales process.  
  • Show the customer how they can reduce costs, time and effort thanks to the service contract.
  • Make it clear to the customer what it means if their communication system fails due to a lack of maintenance/updates, downtimes or cyberattacks.
