Exchange line substitute tone was always played

The exchange line substitute tone can now be either enabled or disabled in the provider template.

The automatic storage test for voice mail and fax boxes now works again also with an unencrypted data storage device.

API command logged out the subscriber from all groups

A subscriber, who is member in several groups, is now logged out only from the selected group with the API command‚ incoming and outgoing logging out from group x.

'Regenerate configuration' via ARA led to incorrect voice mailbox behaviour

If an existing configuration is regenerated using the Auerswald Remote Access Server (ARA), the voice mailboxes are then still assigned to the data storage device.

In connection with the new LAN-TAPI version 2.4.2.12, it is possible to execute CTI functions using the telephones COMfortel D-100/D-200/D-400.

Improvements

Additional Exchange Line Channels for COMpact 5200/5200R and COMpact 5500R
Additional exchange line channels can be bought for the PBXs COMpact 5200/5200R and COMpact 5500R in the Auerswald shop.
20 additional exchange line channels can be activated for the COMpact 5200/5200R and 32 additional exchange line channels for the COMpact 5500R.

Support of further Call Types on SIP Calls
Up to now, it was only distinguished between internal and external SIP calls.
From version 7.8A there is also distinguished between door, alarm and group calls. There is as well an end device evaluating this call types.

Default Size of Jitter Buffer set to 60 ms
When creating a new provider, jitter buffer is set with a time of 60 ms. Therefore, 3 (20 ms) or 2 (30 ms) RTP packets fit in the buffer.
The jitter buffer is not changed when importing a provider because the value is taken from the template.

Extension to 16 Alarm Announcements
The number of possible alarm announcements was raised from 4 to 16.

Priority Call on Do-not-Disturb through Group Rework Time was no longer possible
If a group member is put into do-not-disturb through rework time, now a priority call is possible again.

During Configuration Switching Group Members were logged in again
Using the boss/secretary function a group member that is logged out is no longer automatically logged back into the group during configuration switching.

MSN/DDI Call Forwarding with Short-Code as Destination could not be deactivated
An MSN/DDI call forwarding with short-code as destination can now be deactivated after activation.

Phone Number of Caller was not displayed after Pick-Up with COMfortel M-510
On a pick-up with a COMfortel M-510, the phone number of the caller is now displayed after successful connection.

DTMF Negotiation "A, B, C, D" could not be forwarded by the PBX
If an end device sends the DTMF negotiation "A, B, C or D", this negotiation will now be forwarded by the PBX.

BLF of a Group Speed Dialling Key did not display 'busy' on a COMfortel D-400
If a group was configured with "Busy-on-Busy busy from 1st connection" on, the status of 'busy' is now also signalled by red blinking LED.

API "Enabling CFU (saved Destination Phone Number is taken)" was not functional
An API CFU for which no destination phone number has been entered can now be activated and deactivated.

Blind Transfer to External Destination was not prevented
Blind transfer to external destination is now again prevented. That means that the subscriber receives a note that transferring to an external subscriber is not possible.

Provisioning was not possible when the Name of the PBX contained a Special Character
A COMfortel 1400 IP is now provisioned, even if the name of the PBX contains a special character.

Dialling a non-existing internal Phone Number led to Exchange Line Call
If on a PBX initialised for Greece a non-existing internal phone number is dialled, this call does not lead to an exchange line call.

No Entry could be added in the IP Routing
With an inserted NET module an entry can now be added in the IP routing.

LAN-TAPI was not automatically activated during Provisioning for D-Series
LAN-TAPI is now automatically activated by provisioning on a telephone of the D-series if PBX Call Assist is ticked off in the PBX and the desired line in the UC server is activated.

Group Member with active FMC was not considered for Busy-on-Busy
'Busy' is now signalled to an external caller, if he calls a busy group subscriber with activated FMC and the group configuration "Busy-on-Busy busy from 1st connection on".

Occasionally, no Call Tone on outgoing Call
There is now always a call tone on an outgoing call via a VoIP exchange line on a COMpact 5000.

Omission of SIP Stack Type 1
Starting with the release version 7.6C 000 the SIP stack type 1 in VoIP providers is not selectable anymore. In previously configured provider templates SIP stack type 1 is automatically changed to SIP stack type 2.

Incorrect Number Presentation on incoming calls

To a subscriber without call distribution, the first number of the used exchange line is transmitted on an outgoing external call. The call is no longer executed as call without number presentation meaning that it is no longer displayed as "anonymous".

SIP Port 5060 could not be used for NET module and CPU network interface

The SIP port 5060 can now be used exactly one time on each network interface.

New functions:

• Support of the new IP DECT Solution
  Central point of firmware version 7.4B is the new IP DECT solution of Auerswald and the support of it. The solution consists of the following devices:
  • COMfortel WS-500S (singlecell basis)
  • COMfortel WS-500M (multicell basis)
  • COMfortel M-510 (universal handset))
  • COMfortel M-520 (elegant handset))
  • COMfortel M-530 (robust handset))
  The special part of the new system is the vastly better interaction of the ICT system and the DECT solution. The dominant part of the configuration of the DECT system takes place on the PBX. The DECT system is created as base and the handsets as subscriber.
   
  
  Important note for trouble-free installation:
  The base is not connected to the network until the provisioning file has been created and assigned. After connecting the DECT system finds the PBX and receives the corresponding configuration from the PBX. The handsets only need to be switched on and registered to the base. The DECT system is then ready for use.

Improvements:

• Improvement of the Configuration Manager after a firmware update
  The behaviour of the Configuration Manager has been improved in that way that it is no longer necessary that the cache of the browser must be deleted after a firmware update.

Miscellaneous:

• Note on CLIP no screening
  Please note:
  After updating to this version, you must enter the complete phone number (thus, with the local area code or, for example, as 0800… ) in the “Phone number for CLIP no screening” function.
• RSS feed is no longer supported
  As the support for RSS feed has been removed for security reasons in various browsers, we have decided to also remove this feature from our PBXs.

Bug-fixes:

• RTP port display in port overview was incorrect
  The address range for RTP is now displayed correctly in the port overview (Overview -> Ports).
• Activation option PBX Call Assist V3 was missing on "Activation" page
  The activation option PBX Call Assist V3 is now displayed on the page "Number of enabled functions" (Administration -> Activation).
• At internal calls to subscribers with active FMC, the wrong phone number was transmitted
  During a call from an internal subscriber to a subscriber with enabled FMC (Fixed Mobil Convergence), the correct phone number of the calling subscriber is transmitted (at an internal call the external subscriber number assigned via the call distribution or at an external call the phone number of the caller).
• When calling on an internal busy FMC subscriber, the FMC destination number was called
  If the FMC subscriber is busy, now, the FMC destination number is no longer called.
• Device type could be changed later
  The device type cannot not be changed later anymore (Subscriber -> IP Provisioning -> File management -> Column “Use for Device Type”).
• IP phone was provisioned unnecessarily
  If a call forwarding is activated or deactivated via the configuration manager, no provisioning takes place on the affected IP telephone afterwards.

New functions:

Support of VoIP providers in Great Britain
VoIP providers in Great Britain work differently in some details than other providers in Continental Europe. Some providers can only operate without registration and assign a static IP address, which is required for establishing a call in the VIA header, in the contact header and in the SDP. These setting options are now available in the Configuration Manager for VoIP providers.

Improvements:

• Extended support for the provisioning of foreign devices
  Extension for provisioning introduced in version 7.2A: Now, matching configuration files for different IP phone (e. g. Auerswald D-Serie, Yealink, Snom) can be selected. These contain variables which are replaced during provisioning by the PBX with the relevant data. The adjusted file is subsequently sent to the device that is to be provisioned.
• Improvement of the expert settings
  The expert settings for IDSN and VoIP exchange lines have been extended by a change flag. This should visually represent a change in the settings.
• Time setting in the PBX
  The configuration of the NTP settings has been changed in that way that now the gateway address from the IP configuration can also be used for the NTP server. The separate country setting for the NTP server has been removed. This is now pre-selectable by the operation of the PBX in the respective country. Furthermore, the update interval has been reduced to 4,8,12 or 24 hours.
• "Mark sent messages as read" now default value for fax boxes
  If a new fax box is created, the checkbox "Mark sent messages as read" is now set as default.
• Adjusted import dialogue for VoIP provider
  The import button in the dialogue window of a VoIP provider has been changed from, "Load config" to "Import provider".

Bug-fixes:

• Wav files with "&" character in name was not recognised
  An imported audio file with a "&" character in the name ca now again be selected a played.
• Contact import from Outlook 2016 lead to duplicate phone numbers
  In a contact import from Outlook 2016, now no longer two different phone numbers are converted to two identical mobile numbers.
• Number presentation "sent as dialled" without function
  In a VoIP provider profile, for number presentation (outgoing) at 'Format of the called phone number', the option "as dialled" again functions.
• Triggering the call back via voice command was not given
  If Telekom offers the triggering of a call back by voice command if the called party is occupied, this is now triggered by a positive acknowledgement.
• PBX restarted when executing the macro function
  A wrongly performed macro function does not trigger a restart of the PBX anymore.
• Entry field for short-code call was not editable
  After an address book import with 400 short codes, the entry field are now again editable.
• Subscriber could be created despite phone number collision
  When creating a new subscriber with the MSN 116, it is now pointed to a collision with the service number 116117.
• Incorrect number presentation in fax box
  If a fax is now sent via a fax box, then the correct number is transmitted to the remote station.
• Provider template could not be exported
  Now, also provider templates can be exported which contain a "+" character in the name.
• Reformation Day missing in holiday list
  In the holiday list of Lower Saxony, now also the Reformation Day is contained.
• Access to the group properties unstable via ARA
  When accessing via the remote maintenance server ARA, all group properties are now displayed again.
• IP Provisioning: "Account IDs" button without function
  Under "IP Provisioning - File management" the function of the ""Account IDs" button is given again when viewing or editing.
• Subscriber call forwarding led to restart
  An activated subscriber call forwarding with destination to a mobile phone number does no longer lead to a restart of the PBX.
• Area code was no longer displayed
  When calling an area with another area code, now, the complete phone number with area code is displayed again on the phone display.
• Subscriber was falsely logged out of group
  A subscriber who was permanently logged in a group will no longer be logged off by mistake when logged in to another group incoming via the Configuration Manger.
• Incorrect phone number displaying at COMfortel D-200
  On a COMfortel D-200, the country and area code is no longer missing in the phone display during a call if the destination subscriber rings.
• Restart dialogue ended in permanent query
  When a restart of the PBX is triggered via the Configuration Manager, this no longer results in a permanent query in which a reboot should be performed again.
• PBX sent wrong status e-mail
  If a subscriber has been deprived of the authorisation for a provisioning file, the PBX no longer sends a status e-mail.
• Wrong phone number formatting at FMC call
  During an FMC call via the provider sipgate, the destination subscriber is attainable again by the correct phone number formatting.
• Active FMC function was not displayed correctly
  An activated FMC function is now displayed on the page "Overviews  Call Forwarding Status" with the correct column heading and background colour.
• Provisioning file delivered wrong menu language
  If 'German (default language)' is set for a Standard.xml file as phone language after provisioning, then a COMfortel 2600 IP now also starts with German menu language after provisioning.
• Information about missing Internet connection was not available
  If the COMfortel IP-Editor starts without an existing Internet connection, a note is now displayed again.
• FMC call: When accepting a call, the wrong number was displayed
  With a configured FMC call, the caller now sees the phone number of the internal subscriber at the time of the connection.
• Call forwarding at VoIP PTP connection faulty
  On a VoIP PTP connection, call forwarding to an external destination can now be activated by means of a function key for an existing additional MSN.
• Subscriber/group without call distribution did not transmit a call number
  If no call distribution is configured for a subscriber or a group, the first number of the external exchange is transmitted for an outgoing call again.

• CLIP amplification for Belgium set to 25 dB
  In the expert settings of an analogue exchange line for Belgium, the CLIP amplification is now preset on 25 dB.
• Increase of the security measures by additional http header
  In the current web browsers the security has been increased by the activation of new security mech-anisms.

Bug-fixes:

• Fallback after fallback time terminated the exchange line connection during a group call
  The response time behaviour of group calls from external callers was enhanced. This shall avoid fur-ther unexpected termination of connections.
• Exporting the configuration from the simulation server left out passwords
  Configurations containing passwords, which had been uploaded to the simulation server, will be ex-ported including the passwords.
• Number of DTMF digits, which could be dialled during a call, was limited
  The number of DTMF digits, which could be dialled during a call, is not limited any longer

• LDAP Attribute “mobile” was altered into a telephone number (user defined) during a CSV-Import

• Problems with UTF-8 coding during the online name search
  During the online name search problems occurred as regards UTF-8 coding. German special charac-ters such as ä, ö, ü, ß are now displayed correctly.
• Entries containing “08602unavailable” occurred on the call data list for calls with external subscribers

• On some ISDN gateways, the local area code was placed and dialled before the complete phone number
  The local area code is now used at the correct place of the phone numbers. Correct dialling is en-sured.
• 'Call deflection' not considered for subscriber call forwarding
  For a VoIP PTP connection with 'Call deflection', subscriber call forwarding is now also redirected in the provider so that the PBX channels remain free.
• Access to group properties via ARA was not stable
  After accessing the group properties via Auerswald Remote Access (ARA), there is no longer a "fro-zen" status message.
• PBX sent faulty audio signal to the provider easybell
  With a call from the D1 mobile network via a COMpact 5000 to the provider easybell, now no defec-tive audio signal is sent.
• CLIP no screening phone number for additional number was not stored
  Under „Public switched tel. networks -> Voice over IP -> Additional numbers“ an additional CLIP no screening number can be created.
• Programming sequence for Follow-me did not function if subscriber had direct exchange line
  The programming sequence ## 8 * 19 1 Subscriber/group number # does now also function when the corresponding subscriber has a direct exchange line.
• Call distribution to a fallback number incorrect with a SIP trunk
  If only the head number is called in a SIP trunk, the fallback number is now called in case of a fallback.
• Sporadic restart of the PBX with targeted exchange line access with ##96 MSN * destination number
  There is no longer a sporadic restart of the PBX when the exchange line access is assigned with ##96 MSN * destination number.
• "Dynamic" was missing in the selection options for "Busy-on-Busy"
  Now, in the group reachability for Busy-on-Busy, "dynamic" can be selected again.
• Templates with recognition "uk" incorrectly sorted
  In the selection "Import provider" the templates with recognition "uk" are now displayed under the country Great Britain.
• CLIP expert settings faulty for Great Britain
  In the expert settings of an analogue exchange line, now, "CLIP without signalling, before the first ring" is set for Great Britain as CLIP subversion as default.

New functions:

COMfortel IP-Editor
The COMfortel IP-Editor was introduced to simplify the editing of *.xml files for the configuration of IP system phones. The configuration is done via a user interface. The most important phone functions can be configured with the editor:

• Function keys
• Date/time
• IP cameras.

The *.xml file to be edited must be stored in the PBX. For loading the editor, the system requires at least once access to the Internet. The *.xml file can also be edited directly.

Improvements:

New overview on the "Activation" page
The activation page has been revised. Key symbols were added to display the status of the functions that can be purchased.

Bug-fixes:

• Dialling via a newly created short-code call was not possible
  If a newly created short-code number intersected at two places with the phone number of a door terminal, then dialling was not possible.
• Rework time started at beginning of the call
  If a call came via call forwarding or transferring to a group, the rework time started at the beginning of the call and not after the set time.
• Number presentation with CLIP no screening to abroad incorrect
  CLIP no screening has been adjusted for abroad and is functional again.
• Interferences at VoIP calls after 15 minutes
  It happened that during a VoIP call via a Telekom connection, language interferences could be heard after 15 minutes.
• New IPv6 prefix – Accounts were no longer registered
  When changing from IPv4 to IPv6, the external accounts were no longer registered.
• Failure of the internal VoIP telephony
  Sporadically, the internal VoIP telephony failed.
• If parallel call of a subscriber was enabled, the phone number instead of the name was displayed
  If external calls within the PBX (e.g. parallel calls) were forwarded, the phone number instead of the name was transmitted.
• At times no connection from/to TFS-Dialog 204
  In certain situations, the TFS-Dialog 204 did not react.
• Dialling via internal LAN TAPI: Number was incorrect identified
  At an internal LAN TAPI call, the national number was not transmitted.
• Outgoing calls via a Vodafone SIP trunk connection were not possible
  Outgoing calls via a Vodafone SIP trunk connection were sporadically terminated.
• Call via PTMP exchange line was not made
  If there was an empty entry in the exception number table in the VoIP/GSM routing area, a call via the entered PTMP exchange line was not possible.
• After update to version 6.8A: short-code calls as call forwarding destination were no longer functional
  The entered external number for the short-code call had the formatting "international". Because of this, the call could not be performed. The formatting of the phone number has been changed to "national".
• The 4DSP module was not plugged in, nevertheless eight voice mail/fax channels were displayed
  In the activations of a COMpact 5000, eight useable voice mail/fax boxes were displayed, also when no 4DSP was plugged in.
• Permanently occupied exchange lines due to errors in the automatic reception
  The automatic reception led to permanently occupied exchange lines if the transferred call was rejected.
• CD facility via default disabled
  In the firmware version 6.8A, the CD facility was enabled by default. This is now again disabled by default. This is to avoid possible problems with ISDN PTMP connections if the provider does not support this option.
• SIP phone via LAN TAPI displayed incorrect phone number when using CLIP no screening
  An incorrect phone number was displayed in a SIP phone if CLIP no screening via LAN TAPI was used.
• No call forwarding for subscribers when dialling service number 116117
  Call forwarding for subscribers was not possible if the destination was the service number 116117.
• Measures to improve the voice quality
  Due to dynamic adjustments of the RTP package sizes, the voice quality in various network topologies can be improved.
• Maximum activation for PBX Call Assist was incorrectly displayed
  In the activations for PBX Call Assist, 112 subscribers were displayed although only 40 are possible.
• Activation "Phone book for Siemens IP DECT phones" was listed
  Under "Activation" the purchase option "Phone book for Siemens IP DECT phones" was listed for the PBXs COMpact 4000, 5200 and 5500. The PBXs do not support IP DECT bases.
• Pick-up was not possible
  If two COMfortel 1600 were connected to the same ISDN bus, pick-up did not function for call waiting calls.
• VoIP with T-Online: no external telephony
  An incoming call via a T-Online VoIP exchange line was sporadically not possible.
• Provider names under "Public switched tel. networks" partially were not displayed
  Due to a cache problem, the name of the VoIP providers were not displayed.
• "Import" button with no function
  On the page Voice mail/fax boxes > Basic settings, the Import button had no function.
• "Automatic reception" falsely ended VoIP calls
  A VoIP call was ended if in the "Automatic reception" no announcement had been configured for "Announcement if destination is busy/does not reply". In this case, the call was supposed to fall back to "Default destination/Repeat Automatic Reception".
• IP address changes were not possible
  Due to incorrect validation, the changing of IP addresses for VoIP and VMF modules was no longer possible.
• PBX often restarted if the automatic reception was used
  When using the automatic reception, the PBX restarted if the B channel was switched incorrectly.
• Error message at baby call was not hidden
  Under the profile settings for the baby call, the error message for the required entry was not hidden after the function was disabled.

  The enabled NTP service at a COMpact 5000 and the operation of a Lancom router in the same network with enabled NTP server and NTP sending mode led to conversation demolitions.
• One-way audio connection at "Unitymedia" provider
  By increasing the tolerance for the negotiation of "Comfort Noise", one-way audio connections at "Unitymedia" provider have been fixed.
