What does the new update offer?
The release 2.0 for the COMfortel D series includes some optimizations as well as new features for users and admins, which you should not miss!
These are the new features for the user:
- Display of messages from alarm servers:
With the new firmware update, it is now also possible to display text messages from alarm servers on COMfortel D series terminals.
- Call flow display*:
This enables to see which route a call is taking to reach you. This is particularly important for multi-company systems in order to be able to answer calls individually.
- Professional intercom function*:
This function allows announcements to other telephones without actively answering the call. Ideal e.g. for doctors' surgeries!
These extended functions are available to admins:
- Packet or Wireshark tracing:
Tracing is considerably simplified by just pressing a button on COMfortel D series telephones to immediately create a trace. Here, more relevant information is also recorded than before.
- User roles:
From now on, it is possible to define what the user is allowed to do. For this purpose, individual functions can be hidden in the menu of the phone.
- Status displays of identities:
These displays are now no longer only visible in the phone's display, but also in the web interface.
