The new version contains various new functions and optimisations.

Version 1.4.10 is required for an update to version 1.6.0 or higher. After the update to version 1.4.10 or higher, saving a firmware lower than 1.4.10 (downgrade) is no longer possible. After the update to version 1.6.3 or higher, saving a firmware lower than 1.6.3 (downgrade) is no longer possible. If it is necessary, please contact the Auerswald/FONtevo Support service.
Only COMtrexx VM: Updating to version 1.8.2 or higher may improve the audio quality. In order for the necessary changes to take effect, a double reboot must be carried out once after the update (usual reboot after the update plus additional reboot).
New functions*
- Call flow display:
For incoming calls, a COMfortel D series phone now displays which destination was called (external number, group, forwarded destination).
- Google contacts:
Contacts of the ICT system can now be synchronised with existing Gmail accounts.
- OpenVPN server:
In order to be able to securely connect devices to the ICT system, the ICT system now offers an integrated OpenVPN server.
Improvements
- Initial commissioning:
The ICT system can now be found in the network without knowing the IP address. Input in the browser: comtrexx.local
- Provisioning:
The provisioning templates for COMfortel SoftPhone and COMfortel WS-500x have been extended to fix various problems with the end devices.
- REST API:
The device schema and thus the creation of devices has been simplified. A SIP soft client can now be created.
- Security:
Higher security level through improvement of blocking in case of malicious attacks.
- Monitoring/BLF:
VoIP terminals can now use BLF to monitor other internal users, groups, open consultation waiting positions, voicemail and fax boxes, and door stations, and receive information about their calls or their busy status.
