COMfortel DECT 900C and COMfortel DECT 900 – these telephones refute in an impressive way the prejudice that beauty and intelligence do not match: compact form, sophisticated design and solidly built up to the handy belt clip. No matter whether you choose the handset with colour or monochrome display the operating concept enables you to reach all menus easily and find your way. Total freedom – with this innovative product you can make hands-free calls directly with the handset or you can use it with a headset. Very important for enquiries in the room: microphone mute with just one push of a button. Outstanding sound quality and long standby and talk times characterize both handsets.

Not only the exceptional operation convenience but as well the system integration distinguishes this DECT system. Simply change the PBX configuration using your mobile handset, open the door or activate a call forwarding. Typical system functions like call brokering, conference or call rejection are easy controllable with display messages and assigned function keys.

The base station COMfortel DECT 900 Base will be connected to an internal S₀ port (or U_P0 port plus U_P0/S₀ adapter) of the telephone system. No power supply, no wall outlet: the DECT system gets the necessary power out of this port. Therefore the base can be placed anywhere or even mounted to the ceiling. There’s no need to touch the base later on because you can register the handsets with easily with your computer. In doing so the subscriber name which will be shown in the display of your COMfortel Handset when in idle mode will be transmitted automatically out of the PBX configuration. The other configurations are controlled using the included software or at COMpact 3000 / 5000 respectively COMmander Basic.2 / Business via the web interface. With just a few clicks you can synchronize selected numbers out of the system phone book with list of your handset.

The range of the base station can be extended with circular or cascaded repeaters and directional antennas to optimise it for the local conditions.
