The Auerswald COMfortel 500 analog telephone is designed to work to its optimum with the actual Auerswald PBX systems. The modern and attractive design of the Auerswald system telephone series has been applicated to this model as well. The control and keys are well arranged, and on the 3-line LCD all important informations are clearly presented.

If the PBX system supports alphanumeric CLIP the names from the central phone book of the PBX can be displayed in addition to the numbers (CNIP). Owners of Auerswald's COMpact and COMmander systems will appreciate this feature.

For operation in an office environment the COMfortel 500 has a separate headset connector and many other useful functions that make telephony simply more convenient.

It's your choice how to operate the COMfortel 500: use it as an analog extension of your PBX, or connect it directly to the trunk line port (POTS)! The power supply for the internal electronics is established via this single connection – a separate external power supply is not required.
