To accommodate the latest IT developments, Auerswald also offers a 19" rack version of COMmander Business with stainless steel front, which allows integration with a structured cabling system (SCS). It's an extremely flexible system, which you can upgrade with analog, digital and door ports, to a total of 120 extension ports. For connections with the public telephone network, you can set up VoIP accounts and both ISDN basic rate interfaces and a PRI primary rate trunk line. And how is this for flexibility: COMmander Business lets you use either standard or system telephones, in IP, ISDN 2-wire (U_P0) and ISDN 4-wire (S₀) versions, thus fitting in with almost any existing infrastructure.

With the VoIP integration, you can make calls via the internet without even having to switch on your PC. Or external subscribers, e.g. your regional representative at the other end of the country, can be integrated into the infrastructure of the telephone system like an internal(!) subscriber. He can call from his office via the headquarters system and use all its cost-saving functions while his telephone number as indicated to his business partners is that of the headquarters.

New: With the COMmander VMF Module you get a central and complete voicemail and fax solution which is satisfying even highest demands. Simply forward your extension to your personal mailbox when absent and welcome the caller with individual greeting messages. Using the corded COMfortel system telephones the operation is really convenient. The old-fashioned sending and receiving of fax messages is history when using the central voicemail and fax solution. The complete fax correspondence happens directly at the workstation. Upon demand speech and fax messages will be sent automatically via e-mail.

You manage the system via its web interface. Different access levels allow users to configure their own features – not just from their local computer, but from any computer with internet access, using a web browser.

RJ-45 Western jacks for all connections are placed on the front. This patch panel facilitates an easy installation without tools, and within a few seconds subcribers are connected. This illustration shows the basic version without COMmander Business 19" Xtension. This configuration offers nine module slots. If required, you can also connect the 3rd front panel segment on the left-hand side, and plug in up to six additional card modules.
